Prayagraj: A 40-year-old woman identified as Shakuntala Devi died after she was trapped under the debris of her collapsed kaccha house (mud house) at village Chakulia under the limits of Manikpur police station of Pratapgarh district on Saturday night. The incident, according to police, took place at around 9:30 pm on Saturday night when the woman was trapped under her collapsed mud house and declared brought dead at the hospital on arrival. Police said that incessant rains have caused the collapse of the kaccha house.
