Kanpur: A woman was killed on the spot after a speeding oil tanker allegedly hit her in Kanpur’s Panki police station area on Friday, triggering anger among local residents.Police reached the scene and began an investigation as a large crowd gathered. Eyewitnesses said the collision was so severe that the woman had no chance to save herself.Local residents alleged that accidents occurred frequently because heavy vehicles travelled at uncontrolled speeds around Panki industrial area and the oil depot.
