Bengaluru: Swift response by a Hoysala police team saved a 28-year-old woman and her two children after she allegedly tried to jump in front of a train near Agrahara Layout in Sampigehalli Saturday. She later told police she was a victim of domestic violence by her alcoholic husband.Residents heard children crying and looked out of their houses to find the woman seated on the railway track with the two minors. Alarmed, they called the police control room. A Hoysala patrol vehicle rushed to the spot and quickly moved the children away from the tracks and persuaded the woman to step aside.
