Panaji: Union home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday assured chief minister Pramod Sawant that the political reservation process for Scheduled Tribes (ST) in the Goa legislative assembly will be expedited.Over the last few days, ST functionaries have put up a united front to ensure that seats are reserved for the community in the upcoming assembly elections.Sawant, who met the Union minister in Delhi, said that he apprised him of various initiatives and development works being undertaken by Goa govt.Sawant invited Shah to attend the presentation ceremony of the President of India’s Police Colours to Goa police and for the inauguration of the Goa BJP headquarters.
