Living a long life has fascinated humanity for generations, and turning 100 years old is rare enough on its own, but doing it while living independently, driving yourself to the grocery store, and jumping out of an airplane for fun is a blessing in itself.
It is easy to assume that a long, active life comes down to luck or good genes.
But one story is about a centenarian from California who has shunned all the barriers of age and sets a shining example that age is just a number.Meet Ruby McNally, the 100-year-old woman who skydived to celebrate her 100th birthday
Ruby McNally is 100 years old, lives alone in Roseville, California, still drives herself around town, and recently jumped out of an airplane to celebrate her birthday, which makes it her third tandem skydive after doing the same at 80 and 90. According to TODAY.com,
Describing the experience, McNally said, “It was so exciting. I love it,” explaining the feeling of floating above the earth before landing safely on her feet.
