Vadodara: Western Railway (WR) has announced temporary changes in the operation of several trains due to a major block for yard remodelling and electronic interlocking work at Vadodara railway station under the Vadodara division.According to WR spokesperson Anubhav Saxena, the block has been taken up to ensure safe train operations and improve passenger convenience. During this period, several trains will be short-terminated or short-originated from Vishwamitri, Bajwa and Chhayapuri stations.Train number 19819 Vadodara–Kota Express will short-originate from Chhayapuri station from May 18 to May 30, 2026. Services between Vadodara and Chhayapuri will remain cancelled during this period. Similarly, train number 19820 Kota–Vadodara Express will be short-terminated at Chhayapuri station from May 17 to May 29, 2026, with services between Chhayapuri and Vadodara cancelled.Train number 19036 Ahmedabad–Vadodara Intercity Express will be short-terminated at Bajwa station from May 18 to May 30, 2026, while train number 19035 Vadodara–Ahmedabad Intercity Express will short-originate from Bajwa station during the same period. Services between Bajwa and Vadodara will remain cancelled.Railway authorities have advised passengers to check updated train timings, stoppages and other details before travelling through the official Indian Railways enquiry portal.
