Pune: Wellington College International (WCI) Pune has organised a special three-day performance of the popular musical Annie Jr. from Feb 12 to 14 at the school auditorium on its Pune campus. The lively production is performed by WCIP students from different year groups.
Annie Jr. is a cheerful and inspiring story about a young orphan girl named Annie, who lives in a strict orphanage run by Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of finding her parents and having a loving family. Along the way, she meets new people, faces challenges bravely, and learns to stay hopeful even during difficult times. The musical shares an important message: family is not just about birth, but about love, care, and kindness. Songs such as “Tomorrow” and “Hard Knock Life” make the show enjoyable for audiences of all ages.The final performance will be held on Feb 14 at 2pm and is free and open to the public. Families, students, and members of the community are invited to attend and support the young performers. Annie Jr. promises to be a memorable event in Pune, filled with music, joy, and inspiration.
