Mangaluru: Bajrang Dal has successfully organised various campaigns across the country for the protection of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. It has been at the forefront of all struggles related to the construction of the temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, said Bajrang Dal’s national coordinator, Kishan Prajapat.Speaking at the inauguration of the two-day Regional Coordinators Conference of the south region of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad‘s (VHP) youth wing Bajrang Dal at Sanghaniketan here on Saturday, he said, “With the construction of the Ram Temple, the organisation aims to establish Ram Rajya. Bajrang Dal, born out of struggle and working through it, has service, security, and culture as its mission. With the temple’s construction, one phase of the goal is achieved. Currently, it is working with the objective of protecting cows, safeguarding Hindu girls, and creating a drug-free India. The organisation will also work towards uniting the society.”He added, “Being a Bajrang Dal activist is not just a label, it means society expects a lot from us. Bajrang Dal is a strong organisation within the Hindu community, working 24×7 for them. Therefore, society is also extending its support to it.”VHP honorary adviser, Prof MB Puranik, said, “The VHP was established as a platform to unite Hindus worldwide and find solutions to their problems. Its youth wing, Bajrang Dal, works to protect religious culture. Apart from fighting against cow slaughter, love jihad, and conversions, it empowers the youth. The lack of unity in society is a major weakness, which is being exploited to divide it.”VHP national joint general secretary K Sthanumalayan initiated the conference with a flag-hoisting ceremony. VHP Mangalore district president HK Purushottam, joint secretary Sharan Pumpwell, and others were present.
