If you want your plants to be successfully grafted, you should make sure that the chosen plant parts are healthy enough. For example, the rootstock must be disease-free, well-developed, and vigorous. At the same time, the scion should belong to a healthy rose plant that has had the last vigorous growth. In addition, you should choose the scion whose stem thickness corresponds to that of the rootstock.
