Ranchi: Senior IAS officer Vinay Choubey on Thursday joined the department of personnel, administrative reforms and Rajbhasha after his suspension order was revoked by the state govt.Choubey was suspended following his arrest on May 2025 by the ACB in a liqour scam. Later, he was also taken into custody in Hazaribag forest land scam case.Choubey obtained conditional bail from the Supreme Court in Aug in the forest land scam case and secured a default bail in the liquor scam as the ACB had not submitted the charge sheet within the stipulated time.
