Vijaybhoomi University and France’s KEDGE Business School have expanded their academic partnership by launching Global MBA, MSc and BBA programmes with international mobility pathways, alongside plans to set up an affiliate “KEDGE Mumbai” campus in India to strengthen access to European industry opportunities.
Replying to questions by ET Education, Sanjay Padode, President of Vijaybhoomi University, confirmed that KEDGE will establish the affiliate campus at Vijaybhoomi, bring French faculty to teach in India, and run admissions through the university’s unified selection process.
‘KEDGE Mumbai’ campus, French faculty and unified admissions
Responding to ET Education’s queries on the operational model, Padode said KEDGE will set up an affiliate “KEDGE Mumbai campus” within Vijaybhoomi University’s Karjat campus in Maharashtra. He noted that admissions to the new programmes will be conducted through Vijaybhoomi’s standard university process, including the university’s scholastic aptitude test, interviews, and consideration of SAT scores for globally aligned selection.
Padode also confirmed that faculty from KEDGE’s France campuses will teach in India alongside newly recruited local full-time faculty, ensuring international academic standards while building domestic teaching capacity.
Detailing the structure, Padode said students enrolled in India will receive degrees equivalent to those awarded by KEDGE in France and enjoy equivalent alumni status of the French institution.
A bi-directional scholarship model will allow five top-performing undergraduate students from KEDGE India to complete two years of study in France by paying the same fees as in India, while five students from France will be able to study in India under a reciprocal arrangement.
Padode highlighted that Vijaybhoomi follows a liberal professional model, allowing students to choose or even switch disciplines — from business to engineering, music, design or AI — after admission, emphasising learner choice and interdisciplinary pathways.
He added that students will also get the flexibility to choose their “continent of graduation” through partnerships across France, the US and other regions, enabling them to specialise where partner institutions hold domain strengths.
