Prayagraj: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal organised their traditional ‘Shastra Puja’ at Kesar Bhawan, the VHP provincial office, on the occasion of Vijayadashami on Wednesday. The weapons were worshipped as part of the customary rituals.Addressing workers after the ceremony, VHP provincial organisational secretary Rajendra said Vijayadashami was a day dedicated to the worship of ‘Shakti’ and that the traditional ‘Shastra Puja’ symbolised the resolve to uphold justice and ‘dharma’ against injustice and ‘adharma’.
