Calvin Klein has closed its chapter with Veronica Leoni. On Thursday, the company announced that Leoni is stepping down as creative director, effective immediately. Her successor has not been named.

“I want to thank Veronica for her creative vision, commitment and partnership over the past two years,” said David Savman, global brand president of Calvin Klein, in a press statement. “Reintroducing Collection was a significant milestone for Calvin Klein, and Veronica’s exceptional talent and fresh perspective on Calvin’s iconic design codes helped build meaningful momentum for Collection. Collection remains an important part of our brand, we are excited by the progress to date and look forward to its continued evolution.”

Calvin Klein brought Leoni on as creative director of Calvin Klein Collection — the brand’s luxury tier — in May 2024. She oversaw the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear lines and worked to strengthen Calvin Klein’s cultural relevance through red carpet placements and online buzz. Her appointment made her the first woman to hold the esteemed role, and her debut Fall 2025 New York Fashion Week show also marked the American house’s return to the runway. Leoni presented her fourth and final collection in September 2026 for the Spring 2027 season.

Leoni now joins the ranks of Anthony Vaccarello, Ib Kamara, Julien Dossena, Mark Thomas, Nicolas Di Felice and Seán McGirr as another high-profile designer up for hire.
