Sitamarhi: Masked armed men looted valuables worth around Rs 3 lakh from the grocery shop of Rama Shankar Gupta at a local market near the India–Nepal border under Kanhauli police station in Sitamarhi district on Friday night. The robbers also thrashed family members when they resisted, before fleeing towards Nepal. Sitamarhi SP Amit Ranjan visited the spot with an FSL team and a dog squad and reviewed the investigation. The culprits will be arrested soon, the SP assured.
