Vadodara: Vadodara district received an average of 1.63mm of rain on Saturday, with Shinor and Dabhoi receiving the most rainfall, at 5mm each, according to the district control room.Waghodia recorded 2mm, while Karjan received 1mm. The remaining four talukas — Savli, Vadodara, Padra and Desar — had not got any rain till Saturday evening.Rain fell largely in the morning and late afternoon. The district’s averaged 0.63mm between 6am and 8am, another 0.63mm between 8am and 10am, and 0.38mm between 4pm and 6pm.According to the Vadodara district control room, the cumulative seasonal rainfall for the district stands at 521.75mm. Shinor has received the most at 789mm, followed by Dabhoi at 620mm and Vadodara taluka at 549mm. Padra’s rainfall tally stood at 544mm, while Desar, Karjan, Waghodia and Savli recorded 488mm, 470mm, 374mm and 340mm respectively.
