Vadodara: Vadodara-Dahod MEMU service will remain cancelled for 26 days from July 7 to August 2 as the train’s MEMU rake is being sent to the East Coast Railway, to cater to the additional passenger rush during the annual Rath Yatra in Puri.The East Coast Railway has sought an additional MEMU rake to manage the heavy influx of devotees expected for the Rath Yatra, which will be held in Puri between July 7 and August 2.As a result, train numbers 69233 and 69234 operating between Vadodara and Dahod will remain temporarily cancelled during this period. Railway authorities have appealed to passengers to make alternative travel arrangements and cooperate during the temporary suspension of the service.
