Vadodara: The Confederation of Indian Industry (western region) said that Vadodara can strengthen its position as a manufacturing hub in Gujarat with the help of infrastructure development, skill enhancement and innovation.CII (western region) deputy chairman Milon K Nag said the city continues to be an important contributor to Gujarat’s industrial economy, with a strong presence across engineering, energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and emerging manufacturing sectors. With more than 20,000 MSMEs and several industrial clusters, Vadodara has emerged as one of Gujarat’s key manufacturing centres.During the roundtable held recently in the city, industry leaders discussed the need for improved ease of doing business and stronger linkages between local enterprises and global markets.
