Srinagar, Sep 18: The Uri national highway will remain temporarily closed to vehicular traffic on September 20 to facilitate hill-cutting work, authorities said on Friday.

According to an order issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri Prince Kumar, the closure has been permitted following a request from the Officer Commanding, 53 RCC (GREF), for carrying out the hill-cutting work along the highway.
