Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Friday declared the preliminary results for the Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate (LT Grade) Recruitment Examination 2025 in four subjects—agriculture and horticulture, Urdu, art and music. A total of 4,243 candidates qualified for the main examination. Results have been uploaded on the commission’s official website.In the music subject, 52 posts in the male branch, 13 in the female branch and 4 specialist teacher posts (under the department of empowerment of persons with disabilities) were advertised. Of the 3,729 candidates who registered, 1,974 appeared and 433 qualified. For agriculture and horticulture, 14 male-branch posts and 8 specialist teacher posts were notified. The subject saw 11,753 registrations, 6,490 candidates appeared, and 224 cleared the prelims. In Urdu, 9,765 candidates registered and 4,850 appeared, of whom 731 qualified. The highest number of vacancies—and successful candidates—was in the art subject, for which the exam was held on January 24. A total of 353 male posts, 195 female posts and 4 specialist teacher posts were advertised. Of the 19,748 candidates who registered, 9,505 appeared and 2,954 cleared the preliminary stage. UPPSC said the schedule for the main examination and details of the online application process for qualified candidates will be released separately. The commission further clarified that candidates’ marks and cut-off scores will be published only after the final selection results are declared. It added that no information regarding marks or cut-offs will be provided under the Right to Information Act, 2005 before the final results are announced.
