Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) chairman Prashant Kumar has cautioned candidates against misleading information being circulated about PGT, TET and other examinations.Kumar said the commission had learnt that some individuals were misleading candidates and instigating them to visit the UPESSC office to submit applications related to OMR sheets, answer keys, cut-off marks and scores for PGT, TET and other exams.He said unverified information was also being circulated about the creation of fake documents using AI and financial transactions.Clarifying the commission’s position, Kumar said the PGT results had already been declared. The commission has displayed the scores of all candidates, along with the written examination marks, interview marks and final scores of selected candidates, on its website.He appealed to candidates not to believe such misleading and baseless information and advised them to treat only advertisements and notices published on the commission’s official website as authentic.Kumar warned that strict legal action would be taken against mischievous elements spreading misinformation.The commission also advised candidates not to make unnecessary visits to its office or fall prey to touts for any information.
