Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh will showcase its emerging semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem at Semicon India 2026 in New Delhi from Sept 17 to 19, pitching the state’s manufacturing capacity, policy support and planned infrastructure to global industry players and potential investors.The three-day event at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, will bring together semiconductor companies, electronics manufacturers, startups, state govts and international participants.The state’s presentation will include promotional films showcasing its existing infrastructure, policy support and plans for building a semiconductor ecosystem.The participation comes as the state seeks to leverage its established electronics manufacturing ecosystem to move further up the semiconductor value chain.Officials will use the platform to present investment opportunities, infrastructure and policy incentives available in the state, besides highlighting plans for future capacity building.The event will be held around the theme, “Transform Tomorrow – Silicon to Systems: Building Global Supply Chains”, with discussions covering the semiconductor and electronics value chain, investment, technology, supply chains and workforce development.More than 500 exhibitors will participate across around two lakh square feet of exhibition space, with 10 state pavilions and seven country pavilions. A separate startup pavilion will feature around 40 startups.More than 150 speakers are expected to participate in the event, which will also include state govt roundtables, training sessions, dedicated tracks on electronics and components, and country roundtables.The state’s participation comes against the backdrop of its efforts to expand from large-scale electronics manufacturing into higher-value segments of the semiconductor ecosystem.
