Lucknow: UP has emerged as one of the leading states in the adoption of digital education through the DIKSHA platform, with 27.01 lakh registered users, accounting for nearly 12% of the country’s total registered DIKSHA users.During the academic session 2025-26, DIKSHA recorded an average of 17,597 active users every day in the state, while 49,789 new users joined the platform, reflecting the growing reach of digital learning.To strengthen access to quality educational content across both urban and rural areas, the state has made over 16,000 QR-linked educational videos available on DIKSHA. These videos can be accessed through QR codes embedded in relevant lessons, enabling teachers and students to seamlessly connect classroom learning with digital resources.Govt has also introduced innovations such as game-based assessments, pre-loaded smart-class content and multilingual learning materials to make education more interactive and engaging. These resources support teachers in explaining concepts effectively while improving students’ learning experience.With a focus on inclusivity, educational content in Indian Sign Language has been uploaded on DIKSHA to improve access for children with special needs. Efforts are also underway to develop DIKSHA Pocket Booklets to make digital resources more accessible at the school level.
