Jaipur: The golf team, captained by Dr Devendra Kumar, will be participating for the third consecutive time in the Bank of Baroda Corporate Golf League, being held at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur’s Pink City, under the banner of New India Assurance Company Limited.Last year, the New India Assurance team reached the semifinals.This corporate golf league, which started on October 13 and will run for about 3 months in match play format, has been divided into 4 groups in which a total of 40 teams are participating.

On Friday, New India’s Chief Regional Manager Kamla Chauhan and Regional Manager Harendra Sharma unveiled the T-shirts for the New India team players playing in the tournament.Captain Devendra Kumar is confident of putting up a fine show in the Corporate Golf League.“We reached the quarter-finals in the first attempt, while we made it to the semifinals last year. We have a good team this year too and we are determined to reach at least the final this season,” said Dr Devendra Kumar.
