Pune: An unknown man set four two-wheelers on fire in the early hours of Saturday at a housing society in Thergaon.The vehicles were parked on the premises of a housing society in Thergaon. Gautam Gaikwad (30) of Raj Shaili building at Kanhaiya Park in Thergaon lodged a complaint with the Wakad police. The Wakad police have registered a case against an unknown person under sections 324 and 326 (mischief by injury, inundation, fire, or explosive substance) of the BNS.An officer from the Wakad police said, “Gaikwad told the police that around 5am on Saturday, his neighbour woke him up and informed about the fire in the parking lot. Gaikwad found that three motorcycles and a scooter caught fire. He and his neighbours doused the fire, but the vehicles were badly damaged,” the officer said.
