With this, the process now moves toward the release of official certificates and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) award letters for qualified candidates.The certificates, which validate eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor and JRF in Indian colleges and universities, will be made available online. UGC NET result 2025 and exam overview
The UGC NET June 2025 examination was conducted from June 25 to June 29 across over 250 cities nationwide. The test was held in two shifts daily and covered 83 subjects, including languages, humanities, and science disciplines. The examination comprises two papers conducted in a single session — Paper 1 carrying 100 marks and Paper 2 carrying 200 marks — with no negative marking.The provisional answer key was released on July 5, followed by an objection window that remained open until July 8. The final answer key, revised after considering objections, has now been published alongside the result.
