Handwara, June 22: A two year old girl died after allegedly falling into a water tub in Kralgund area of Handwara on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sibra Javid, daughter of Javid Iqbal Lone, a resident of Renin Kralgund. According to her mother’s statement, the child accidentally fell into a water tub at home and was rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara for treatment.
However, despite medical efforts, she was declared dead at the hospital. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings.
