Two women in their 20s have died after a diving trip at a Scottish loch.
Police Scotland said the alarm was raised at Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute, at about 15:30 on Sunday.
The force said a 26-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene at St Catherines, Cairndow.
The body of the second diver, who was 24, was found after further searches in the water.
Coastguard Rescue Teams from Crinan, Dunoon, Kames and Inveraray and lifeboats from Tignabruich, Campbeltown and Largs joined the search.
A Coastguard helicopter was also sent the scene.
Police Scotland said it responded to a “report of concern” for two female divers.
A spokesperson said: “The deaths are being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination will take place in due course.”
