BARAMULLA, August 22: Two persons were injured, one of them critically, in a road accident on the National Highway at Chakloo near Yawar Motors in Baramulla on Saturday.
According to reports, the accident occurred when a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05P-2284 collided with a dumper bearing registration number JK05F-6564.
The injured have been identified as Azaan Ali Sofi (25), a resident of Chakloo, and Mudasir Ali Sofi (24), son of Mohd Sofi, also a resident of Chakloo. One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition.
Locals immediately rushed both injured persons to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, where they were admitted for advanced medical treatment.
The dumper was reportedly being driven by Azad Ali Malla, son of Ghulam Din Malla, a resident of Shivari.
