Vadodara: Two men who allegedly tried to break into an ATM, were arrested by crime branch sleuths on Tuesday. The duo allegedly attempted to steal cash from an ATM in Angadh village a few days ago. Police said they had received a tip-off about two men moving around suspiciously near Ratri Bazaar in an autorickshaw.Policemen went to the spot and questioned the duo — Suresh Padhiyar, a resident of Chhapad village and Sanjay Padhiyar, a resident of Padra. During interrogation, the duo admitted that they had attempted to break into the ATM using a hammer. When the alarm went off, they fled in the autorickshaw. Police are now investigating if they were involved in any other offences.
