Madhubani: Police on Monday arrested two people accused of raping a minor girl in a village in Madhubani district. SP Yogendra Kumar, said the two accused, identified through CCTV footage, forcibly took the girl on a motorcycle to an isolated location along NH27, where they allegedly raped her. The girl confided in her mother, who initially approached the village panchayat for justice. The panchayat decided on a compensation of Rs 1.5 lakh for the victim’s family, but, dissatisfied with it, the mother took the matter to the police on Monday.
