Patna: Two friends, Badal Mandal (19) and Badal Kumar (22), died in a road accident while returning from a wedding in Purnia district early Monday. Their motorcycle hit a road divider near Purab Chowk under Baisi police station area. According to police, the accident was caused by overspeeding. One youth died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries at Baisi primary health centre. The bodies were sent for the postmortem. Further investigation is underway, said SHO Shiv Kumar Paswan.
