Prayagraj: Two drug peddlers identified as Ratan Kesarwani (40) and Dipanshu Singh (36), residents of Babaganj were arrested by Pratapgarh police on Sunday and seized 101.39 gram smack from their possession. The arrest was made near Saiyabadh railway line road while they were planning to sell drugs. They were booked under section 8 \21 of NDPS. Police said three cases are pending against Ratan Kesarwani.Following the arrest, Pratapgarh police said that the arrest of drug peddlers was a part of ‘Operation Prahar’. Cops claimed that police have launched ‘Op Prahar’ against drug peddling and appealed people to inform police on mobile no 6307363107 and their identities will be keptn secret.Meanwhile, Antoo police arrested a mobile snatcher identified as Ramedra Mani Tripathi alias Lalla (33) of Tiwaripur and seized one bike and a looted mobile from his possession. Police said that Ramendra with the help of his accomplice Golu Pandey had snatched the mobile from a tractor driver near Baijalpur on April 4.
