Mangaluru: A 10-day Tulu drama workshop organised by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy opened Saturday, spotlighting theatre as a creative space for college students.Veteran actor Laxman Kumar Mallur said that stage participation helps young people discover their creativity and develop a broader artistic sensibility.Theatre director Udyavar Nagesh Kumar spoke on the role of theatre in strengthening student engagement, while Academy chairman Tharanath Gatti Kapikad underlined the contribution of Tulu drama to the language’s growth. SCS College principal Hardik Chauhan reaffirmed the institution’s support for regional languages and art forms.
