Jhansi: A woman from Gwalior on Thursday lodged a complaint against a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) of raping her by luring her to his house on the pretext of birthday celebration.In her complaint lodged in Premnagar police station, the woman alleged that she was acquainted with the family of the accused living in Gwalior for over a decade.The accused is posted in Jhansi and has been alloted a official quater. On Aug 12, the accused invited the woman to Jhansi for his birthday celebration. He told her that all his family members were also present there for the celebration.The woman arrived at Jhansi by train in afternoon on the same day. The accused picked her from railway station and took her to his official residence where he raped her. He also warned her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone.The woman finally filed a complaint on Thursday. SO Premnagar police station Tulsi Ram Pandey said that a case has been lodged against the accused and further investigation is being conducted.
