Hazaribag: The bullet ridden body of Anish Ansari (45), a zonal commander of the banned LWE outfits Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC) was found on the banks of Gerua river in Keredari on Wednesday. The police however remained clueless about his killers. Hazaribag SP Anjani Anjan said no organisation claimed the responsibility for killing Ansari. “Ansari was identified from his mobile phone which was lying next to him. No pamphlet was found near his body either. Relatives of Ansari arrived from Burmu and identified him. Thereafter, the body was sent to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital for postmortem examination,” the SP added. No arrests were made till the evening.A native of Burmu in Ranchi district, Ansari was wanted in several criminal cases of extortion, arson and firing under Keredari police station limits in Hazaribag and Tandwa police station limits in Chatra district, the police said. In June this year, Ansari torched two vehicles associated with the NTPC’s Keredari coal mining project, the police said.
