Nagpur: A horrific accident on the Samruddhi Expressway entry point in Hingna on Monday night claimed the life of a truck driver.Vivek Thakare, 24, a resident of Betul, Madhya Pradesh, was driving the truck from Wani towards Jabalpur when he lost control of the vehicle around 10 pm near a gas substation within the limits of Hingna Police Station.The truck overturned, and the driver was trapped underneath. Locals and highway police, including PSI Bhagat, immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the critically injured driver to AIIMS.Despite efforts, doctors declared him dead in the early hours of April 21.An accidental death report was registered at Hingna Police Station.
