Kanpur: Sadar Kotwali police on Thursday night seized a truck carrying 550 cases of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) from Haryana to Bihar in Kannauj district.According to police, a checkpoint was set up at Pal Chauraha following a tip-off, and the vehicle was subsequently intercepted and seized.Inspector Jitendra Pratap Singh said 550 cases of Royal Stag and Imperial Blue liquor were recovered and the vehicle was taken into custody.He said the truck driver was detained for questioning to ascertain where the consignment was loaded and who was to receive it in Bihar. Further investigation is underway.
