Trilegal has announced the opening of its new office in Chennai, further strengthening its presence across the country’s key business and investment hubs. With this addition, the firm now operates nine offices across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Pune, GIFT City, and Chennai.
The Chennai office will work closely with teams across practices, including corporate, capital markets, real estate, dispute resolution, and private equity. The expansion reflects the firm’s continued investment in markets that are shaping India’s next phase of economic growth.
“The city’s diversified and resilient business ecosystem makes it strategically significant for us. Being on the ground enhances our ability to respond with agility, while continuing to deliver high-quality advice through our integrated national platform,” said Nishant Parikh and Sridhar Gorthi, partners and members of the management committee, Trilegal.
The Chennai office is located at Dadha Chambers, 6th floor, Royapettah. The expansion reflects the firm’s focus on deepening client proximity in high-growth markets and supporting evolving business needs across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, private capital, infrastructure and financial services.
Chennai’s emergence as a hub for global capability centres, cross‑border investments and industrial growth makes it a strategically important addition to the firm’s national footprint. In the past year, S.S. Rana & Co. opened a new office in Chennai, while Khaitan & Co. and CMS INDUSLAW moved to larger and upgraded offices in the city, signalling that Indian law firms are viewing the city as a strong base for their pan-India expansion plans.
