Vadodara: Train services on the Dabhoi–Ekta Nagar section of Vadodara division will be affected in the first week of April due to engineering work for the commissioning of the new Maurya railway station.Railway officials said Maurya station is being upgraded from Category D to B, for which a traffic block has been imposed to carry out work safely and efficiently. Several MEMU services operating between Pratapnagar and Ekta Nagar will thus be cancelled on select days. Train 69203 Pratapnagar–Ekta Nagar MEMU and Train 69204 Ekta Nagar–Pratapnagar MEMU will be fully cancelled on April 4, 5 and 7. Train 69202 Ekta Nagar–Pratapnagar MEMU and Train 69205 Pratapnagar–Ekta Nagar MEMU will remain cancelled on April 7, 2026. Railway authorities urged passengers to take note of the changes and plan journeys accordingly.
