Bengaluru: Traffic restrictions will be imposed for three days from Friday at busy Marathahalli junction in the tech corridor to facilitate the launch of Metro girders across the bridge on Outer Ring Road as part of Blue Line project.The curbs will be in force between 12am and 3am. All vehicles from HAL side heading towards Varthur/Whitefield via Varthur Main Road and Marathahalli bridge will be restricted during this period. Traffic from the opposite direction will also face restrictions.Motorists travelling from HAL towards Whitefield/Varthur are advised to take a left at Doddanekundi Junction, proceed to Kartik Nagar Junction, reach ORR, turn left and take a U-turn under Doddanekundi flyover via Alpine Eco Road to Anjaneya Junction and then continue via Kundalahalli Main Road and Graphite India Road to reach Whitefield.Vehicles coming from Varthur/Whitefield towards HAL can take the route via Kundalahalli Junction, reach Anjaneya Junction, turn left to Alpine Eco Road to ORR, take a right at Kartik Nagar Junction, proceed to Doddanekundi Junction and then turn right to Varthur Main Road towards HAL.As an additional alternative, traffic police suggested that vehicles heading to HAL can travel via Varthur Main Road to Vibgyor Junction, turn left to Vibgyor School Road to Balegere Main Road, proceed to Kadubeesanahalli Junction, turn left to ORR and then take a left at Marathahalli bridge junction to rejoin Varthur Main Road towards HAL.
