A terrifying incident went viral after a young boy almost lost his life while attempting to take a selfie at a waterfall. As per a social media post, the unfortunate incident happened at Kalu Falls near Malshej Ghat when the minor slipped while clicking a selfie and was rolling down the hillside towards a deep ravine. However, it is not confirmed if the location mentioned in the video is the same.However, the boy managed to save himself from rolling down further as his hand got hooked on a rock. This prevented him from falling into the stream below, but the situation had become severe as a slight jerk could send him tumbling down to the stream bed.The horrifying incident was captured by X (formerly Twitter) user Mandeep RajBhar. The video shows that tourists present at the falls immediately came to the aid of the minor.They worked together in unison to form a makeshift rope out of bound saris and pieces of cloth. Despite the dangerous location, some of them managed to get closer to the boy and convince him to wait.

Finally, they all worked together and managed to pull him up to safety. It was only by the grace of the tourists present that the minor had survived the incident.
