Mysuru/Madikeri: The bail petition of homestay owner Vishal aka PA Ponnappa in the US tourist rape case has been posted to April 28 (Tuesday).The II additional district and sessions court at Virajpet, said the question of impleading the survivor does not arise in the case and adjourned the matter.Advocate Kokkanda Appanna, appearing for the accused, said that he told the court that impleading the survivor while hearing a bail petition applies only to cases of gang rape and those under the Pocso Act, and not to the present case. After hearing the argument, the court posted the petition for objection, he said.Meanwhile, the advocate of the prime accused Vrijesh of Jharkhand has applied for certified copy of FIR to move court for bail.
