Jaipur: The All Rajasthan Tourist Car Association staged a protest at the Jaipur District Collectorate on Wednesday to oppose the hike in petrol and diesel prices and on a few other issues. The association expressed strong resentment over the repeated increases in fuel prices and raised slogans against the Petroleum Minister. Following the demonstration, the tourist car operators submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to the District Collector.“The issuance of challans for rear bumper guards is unjustified. He argued that these guards provide crucial safety in CNG-fitted vehicles; without them, a rear-end collision could lead to a major catastrophe involving the explosion of the CNG cylinder,” stated Pradeep Parashar from the association.
