Bhilwara: The district special team (DST) and Kotwali police arrested three cyber fraudsters in Tonk district Tuesday for allegedly duping people by luring them with promises of doubling their money through advertisements on social media.Police also seized Rs 1,04,150 in cash, a laptop, eight mobile phones, 11 bank passbooks, seven ATM cards, 10 SIM cards and a Splendor motorcycle from their possession.The accused were identified as Kamlesh, 21, Gaurishankar, 24, and Kirodi Lal, 20, all residents of Tonk district.SP Roshan Meena said a special campaign is being conducted across the district to curb cyber fraud. Acting under the campaign, police carried out the joint operation.Police said the three are being questioned to ascertain the total amount of fraud committed, identify other victims and determine whether more people were involved in the racket.
