COIMBATORE: The School of Post Graduate Studies (SPGS) at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has started the admission process for its masters’ degree programmes for the academic year 2026–27. The online application window opened on Wednesday.SPGS offers master’s programmes in 34 disciplines covering agriculture, horticulture, agricultural engineering, forestry, agricultural biotechnology, community science, food technology, agribusiness, environmental sciences and other emerging areas. Eligible candidates can apply through the admission portal: admissionsatpgschool.tnau.ac.in/Applicants who have completed undergraduate degrees in agriculture, horticulture, agricultural engineering, forestry, sericulture, community science and other eligible disciplines listed in the information brochure can apply. Final-year/final-semester students are also eligible, provided they upload mark sheets for all completed semesters issued by competent authorities. Candidates can apply for up to two eligible subjects.Selection will be based on marks secured in the common entrance examination conducted by TNAU with admission subject to meeting eligibility criteria and submission of required documents at the time of admission.The PG admission information brochure was released by acting vice-chancellor Dr K Subrahmaniyan on Wednesday, in the presence of SPGS dean Dr C Babu and other deans, following which the online admission portal was launched.The last date to submit online applications is August 31.For queries, candidates can contact SPGS, TNAU, Coimbatore–641003; email: pgadmission@tnau.ac.in; mobile: 94890 56710.
