COIMBATORE: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has released the undergraduate admission procedure for agriculture-related programmes for the 2026-27 academic year, stating that admissions to TNAU and Annamalai University’s agriculture stream will be conducted through a single online application portal, http://tnau.ucanapply.com. Candidates must register on the website and upload mandatory documents including the Class XII mark sheet, transfer certificate, community certificate and nativity/residence proof.Online applications can be submitted till June 8. TNAU will offer admissions to 14 undergraduate programmes, covering agricultural sciences and technology streams, while Annamalai University will admit students to three agriculture programmes, including aided and self-financing BSc (Hons) Agriculture and BSc (Hons) Horticulture.A rank list will be prepared based on marks obtained in eligible subjects, and seat allotment will follow reservation norms and programme-wise availability. After the rank list is published, shortlisted candidates will be informed about online counselling through SMS and email sent to the registered mobile number and email address. The university will decide the proportion of candidates called for counselling based on the total number of applicants.For counselling, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 3,000 for OC/BC/BCM/MBC and Rs 1,500 for SC/ST/SCA through the portal; non-payment will bar participation. Candidates can reorder course and college preferences during counselling, and final submitted choices alone will be considered for allotment.
