Gaya: Elaborate arrangements have been made for CM Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra on Friday, which will showcase the ongoing agricultural operations being conducted at the Bihar Centre of Excellence on Millet Value Chain located at Mayapur village of Tankuppa block. The centre promotes seven different types of water-resilient millets, including finger millet (Madua) and pearl millet (Bajra).Senior officials including DM Shashank Shubhankar and SSP Sushil Kumar have been supervising the arrangements.The CM will also meet trainee farmers at the Mayapur centre, inspect drip irrigation and sprinkler facilities and hold an interactive session. His itinerary also includes a review of the schemes announced during the previous Pragati Yatra. He will also lay foundation stones and remotely inaugurate previously announced schemes.
