Kolkata: A male tiger, Sundar, approximately 16 years old, died at the Sundarban Wild Animal Park in Jharkhali on Saturday morning. He had been undergoing treatment for an infection for the past 12 days.With Sundar’s death, the Jharkhali rescue centre is now left without a tiger. Sundar had been rescued from the tiger reserve area in 2022.
