MYSURU: Kumar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, will speak on ‘Catapulting Small Cities onto Global Maps – Frugal Innovations’ during TiECon Mysuru 2026, a three-day entrepreneurship and innovation gathering from April 17-19 at JCAC. Author Vikram Sampath will speak on ‘Lessons of Entrepreneurship from the Pages of History.’Organised by the TiE Mysuru association, the conference will feature more than 35 plenary sessions and over 100 distinguished speakers. The event will explore how traditional industries and new-age ventures can collaborate to reimagine growth. Charter members from over 10 TiE chapters worldwide will also bring international perspectives and networks to the city.Speaking to reporters, Pavan Ranga, MD of Rangsons; Bhaskar Kalale, president of TiE Mysuru and chairman of EqualizeRCM; Ram Kevalur, chairman of TiECon Mysuru 2026 and co-founder of eCirkle.org; and others said that a highlight of the event will be its startup showcase, featuring more than 50 early, and growth-stage ventures through curated pitch fests and a dedicated expo.More than 20 leading investors and venture capital firms – including Nuvama, Chiratae Ventures, Motilal Oswal, Ideaspring Capital, PeerCapital, and BugleRock – will participate, they added.Special industry pavilion will feature over 15 Mysuru-based companies showcasing globally relevant capabilities across aerospace, precision engineering, digital platforms, and advanced manufacturing. The three-day event will include keynote addresses and panel discussions on themes such as creativity and neuroscience for new-age entrepreneurship, AI and the artist’s soul, smart farming and futuristic food systems, and policies driving Mysuru’s growth. Other sessions will cover topics like Mysuru’s evolving social fabric, tourism innovation, and startup ecosystems, as detailed in the official agenda.Bhaskar Kalale said that the conference aims to lay the foundation for Mysuru’s next phase of entrepreneurial growth.
