Vadodara: Three persons were killed after a speeding car rammed into two motorcycles on the Godhra–Ahmedabad highway in Panchmahal district on Sunday morning.The accident occurred near Chamunda Hotel in Vavdi Khurd village. Police said the car owner has been identified, but no arrests have been made so far.The deceased were identified as Vishal Parmar (20), Jaydeep Vankar (16) and Narendra Parmar (35), all residents of Panchmahal district.According to police, the car was speeding when a biker attempted to cross the highway. The impact of the collision was so severe that both the rider and the pillion rider were flung into the air. The car then allegedly hit another two-wheeler rider nearby.Police said the vehicle is registered in the name of a woman. However, investigators are yet to ascertain whether she was driving the car or if someone else was behind the wheel at the time of the accident.After the accident, the driver abandoned the car at the spot and fled before locals could catch him. Locals said the highway stretch has witnessed several accidents in recent days.
